A Legacy in Healthcare

Pandion's history dates back to 1925 as a rural hospital project which evolved into Pandion Healthcare: Education and Advocacy (formerly Rochester Regional Healthcare Association).  Through the over 100 years we’ve been in business, we have developed key areas of expertise, forged influential political connections at state and national levels, amassed successful experiences in the many industries we serve, and continually leveraged our members' collective strength for the benefit of all.

Our Education & Advocacy arm operated as 501(c)3 and 501(c)6 organizations through late 2020, convening healthcare leaders to assemble thought leadership and provide a range of opportunities for professional development and collaboration for the 17 member hospitals and their related health systems throughout Western New York.

Effective 01.01.2021, the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) will assume the advocacy and educational work of Pandion Healthcare Association.

Our Impact

Pandion has forged influential political connections at the state and national levels.
