Pandion Optimization Alliance is proud to celebrate National Nurses Week for 2019.
"Nurses save lives at our 17 hospitals across Rochester and the Finger Lakes, and we can't thank them enough for their professionalism, compassion, and dedication to their patients," said Travis Heider, President and CEO of Pandion Optimization Alliance. "It's no wonder that nursing topped the list of the most honest and ethical professions for the 17th year in a row. Please join me in thanking a nurse this week."
Did you know that:
- Nursing is the nation's largest healthcare profession, with more than 3.8 million registered nurses nationwide
- Nurses walk between 4 to 5 miles per 12-hour shift
- Registered Nurse employment is projected to grow 15% by 2026, faster than the average for all occupations
"Nurses are an essential part of the healthcare team, and we deeply appreciate their hard work," said Heider.
